Ginger - Going Through Arlanda - Trailer

After three years, over a hundred live shows and several live album releases, it finally has come: "Going through Arlanda". With their first full-length studio production, Ginger deliver a highly energetic bluesrock debute, containing all from a tight rocker to an 11-minute space epos. The four young time travelers from Zurich, Switzerland, flirt with funky beats as well as with melancholic blues or heavy stoner rock. The seven songs on "Going through Arlanda" take you to the jammy side of rock. Improvised instrumental parts reveal that the fourpiece -- due to extensive touring -- has grown together as one musical unit.
Even though Ginger are mainly concipated as a live band, they managed to come up with a versatile first album, which wakes up the heritage of a time, where modern rock music took its beginnings: at the core fusion of blues and rock.
