Cher is not gonna play Catwoman as a villain, but why do u act as if its a bad thing?? I mean Cher has a hot body, maybe the only concern is her age.

When the rumour was happening, they were also changing the portrayal of Catwoman. She wouldnt be the Catwoman as we know her in comic books, previous movies and other adaptations.
On top of that, I just don't see Cher as Catwoman at all.. there's supposed to be romance between Batman and her.. which insinuates that they should be close to the same age. Just doesn't make sense.

i think it's not that bad of an idea. the director of the batman movies, has a vision. he's a fan of cher, and she is said to be his first choice for the character. i think the point is, every time we see catwoman she is young and sexy, etc. maybe he has a vision for the character that nobody has created. joker was portrayed in a way that was very unique and different. that will probably continue on. whoever the villain will be in the third film, probably will be very realistic and re-imagined.

Some very good points here. Though with comic book movies.. that's what scares me. I always believed that finding success with comic book movies was to stay true to the basic themes they introduced.
Changes are needed to translate from comics to the big screen for it to work, but some characters have a fan base, Catwoman is one of them.
If there was a movie where Vegeta was reimagined as an accountant and was played by Leonardo DiCaprio.. I don't care about his acting skills, I would freak.
