This screencast tutorial teaches you how to record your first screencast, for sharing on the web, in the next 30 minutes. It accompanies Chapter 4 in http://TheScreencastingHandbook.com and I use Camtasia Studio 6 to record Jing in action on Windows XP to demo the MultiMap.com website.

  • That was a good video - I am just a little confused about why the video was done using camtasia. What is the difference between the programs? are there limitations to jing that you need camtasia for?

  • Jing is a little screen/video-casting capture program.
