I bought this adapter for $40 because my Panasonic Viera tv only has HDMI inputs. It doesn't work. I tried all kinds of resolutions. Can you post a video of you actually using this device with a laptop and tv?

Hi, I have a question hope you can help me,
I want to connect my new apple tv to my HDTV plasma, but the problem is that my tv doesn't have HDMI just VGA, you think I could use the (HDMI to VGA HD15 3 RCA Video Audio AV Cable Cord 5Ft For HDTV)?

What do I do if I have a VGA male and HDMI all in one cord how do I make that work I'm so confused right now trying to get it to work do I have to have a converter even though its already all in one cord?

You can use the cable, but you wont get all the benefits of conversion. The cable will not convert the signal to digital. You may be happy with the quality and you may not get anything through the cable depending on what you are coming from and going to.

@AVDMan lol so I what the heck do I use this cable for? It came all the way from Germany and I don't know what to use it for.

@StrikerZero8989 That cable is mainly used for computer to monitor. Although it does not do any conversion it will get a signal to a new monitor that has an HDMI port. To get a digital signal to the monitor you need the converter or a DVI- cable.
