A CBR 954 has a power to weight ratio about three times that of a Lamborghini LP640, so unless the bike's limited, there's no way in hell a Lexus will beat it. I've got a 954 and I can do circles around any car on the road. Anyone who has ever ridden a bike knows it, as should anyone with even a remote interest in motors.

I used to own a 954, and no offense but there is no way a turbo'd IS300 would beat one. A turbo'd IS300 isn't going to run a 10s 1/4 mile first of all, and second of all a 954 is good for ~170-180mph which that car definitely won't do.

Why do people post stuff like this? This reminds me of the "I beat a turbo 'busa lulz" that are ridiculous. If you've ever ridden one, you'd know what I mean; there's just no way.

No way. 954 stock is a rocket. It nearly weighs as much as the 600 of the day and has 2 times the power

@Lessdeth14 Sure your bike may pull a 1200bhp car to 125mph, but you will be seeing taillights after that. A bike has more drag than a car at high speeds. A shit rider? Why is this always an excuse? It doesnt take much skill to tuck and bang a couple gears.

@CockYaLegS Of course there is more to racing than that. But unless the rider is crap, you still won't beat the bike. My previous bike, a GSX-R 1000 K7 with a few mods to it, did 0-200 kmph (approx 0-125 mph) in seven seconds, and 0-100 (0-62) was slow because of wheelies.. When it came to roll ons, cars didn't have a chance. And I raced it against 1200+ bhp cars.

In other words, a video in which a car beats a bike is almost sans exception a video in which the rider is shit.

@dmsdmullins Interesting seeing that you are a physics major, and only bring up power to weight and friction. Hahah. This car with 700whp would pull on a basic 954. One thing that most dont realize is that a car has less drag at high speeds than a bike. Sure the bike will jump out early at low speeds, but the car is going to reel it in on the top end.

@demon39063 You need to do some research before you type. There are several is300's with 10 second time slips.  People kill me with the ''I R on a bike I is untouchable'' mentality. Ive seen faster bikes than a 954 get walked on by a street car.

@Lessdeth14 As a former 954 owner I agree that you will take out 95% of any car/bike on the road in a straight line. There is more to racing than just power to weight ratio. There are cars out roaming the streets that will shit all over your bike. Ive seen it happen.

it is possible i own a is300 turbo and a bike a 900rr my car is faster but its more fun on a bike i think. and getting a thousand hp out of a 2jz is very possible. there are alot of cars beating bikes on here. whats the magic number it takes 800hp to beat a liter bike. also a stock 954 has 152hp at crank so at wheel its about 140hp. and if set up right these cars will do over 200mph
