Sounds so much like Soul II Soul....Am I right or right?
-
Now how come they didn't have this version on the album?
-
Ah .... them wos the days ...... when black women (or any women) didn't have to rely on computer vocal enhancements or looking like a cheap slut in a chav-w*nk video to sell tunes. Ms.Williams? Vastly underrated, pure emotion and raw vocal power - a lost gem from '89! Excellent.

One thing's for sure, she sounds just like Stephanie Mills to the letter. This woulda been a good comeback song for Stephanie.

Took me about a minute and half, but I do remember this. The problem is back when it was out so was Soul II Soul and Sybil and it probably got lumped in with what they were doing at the time. Ms. Williams vocals are killa, though. Nice track.
