Tibetans in exiled and those currently living abroad may not identify themselves as "Tibetans." But the reality is that Tibetans in China are Tibetan Chinese. Only Tibetan Chinese can speak out for themselves. Many Tibetan overseas are just putting up political shows, propanganda, and and spreading hatred wherever they go.

If the Olympic torch goes to the rest of China instead of Tibet, then Tibet and its people would be dwarfed and humiliated, in contrary to what the Tibetan separatists says.

um, one of the torchbearers is caidan zhuoma, a tibetan folk singer. she was the most popular singer in china in the 60s. another is han hong, a tibetan pop star, who always include tibet in her songs. and no, they aren't forced to do it. you know how many tibetans want to be torchbearers, to gain pride for their culture, and u say the few tibetans that've been allowed to carry the torch are forced to do so? u watch way to much CNN.

To w6tys9: Riots have happened in almost every country in the world including U.S., France, Britain. According to your logic, hundreds of years of democracy "have failed to bring peace" in these countries, so many places in these countries should be independent? Whosoever the torch bearers are, they are being forced by communist china. Politicizing olympic game is bad but still china cannot destroy tibetan determination to rise against china. Fifty years of brutal oppression has failed to bring any peace in Tibet and more protests will take place during olympic not only by tibetan but also everyone one who desires peace, freedom, human rights and democracy. That is sure to happend and I still like to wathch CNNN as it is better than chinese CCTV.
