From 1989: The debut of "Nine Broadcast Plaza" which was an extension of WWOR's noon newscast...hosted by Matt Lauer and Sara Lee Kessler...and was a three hour broadcast that last until 1993. For a second there, as Matt was mentioning that they could be seen in Puerto Rico, I was like "Huh? WWOR is a New York City station." Then I remembered that it was a national superstation as well.
