@SniperRcPilot Same, I don't really like this interpretation of the piece. When I play it, the 16th notes are brought out abit more and I play it about 2/3 the speed.

I love playing this song. I play it slower with more of an angry, stormy sound.

not my favourite performance of this piece, but Barenboim is amazingly clear and light with those fast 16th notes, technically it was flawless

What a great service and justice you are doing here by posting all of the Songs without Words by Mendelssohn. Many of us just had heard the "Spring Song", and had not even suspected the fabulous collection that was in store ahead. May Youtubes superb position as a free difusser of wonderful music and culture last forever.
