New Mexico To California, And The Pier At Oceanside.

We continued our very long drive to California.
Dad got a new camera and was having fun using it.
One stop was on the old Route 66. Does anyone remember that road.
Gallop NM was a nice stop with a good place for pictures.
At one point we stopped at a truck stop and Dad was nervous because we went in the area for the truckers.
But he needed a place where he sit and relax while he took a treatment for his breathing.
Everyone was fine with us there.
But I was remembering how I use to be a trucker and how it was a pain on the road when we were trying to get our work done and people were getting upset with us.
So give the truckers out there some room to get their job done and give them a break okay.
On our long trips we listen to books on tape. It is like watching a show and helps pass the time.
Ofcourse snacks are nice too.
And don't forget to check the map now and then.
We finally did make it to Michael and Miss' place.
The next day Miss took Dad and I out to the Pier.
I just got a new zoom lens for my camera and was having a ball trying it out.
Some people were promoting Victoria Jackson makeup which some of us know it is not cheap.
Well they had a kit they were giving out for $20 and it had about $100 worth of stuff in it. So we got two of them.
We had fun.
