For the month of October I have decided to review 31 of the best horror video games. 31 games in 31 days - all coming from the 'horror' genre of games that I have played in my lifetime as a gamer. This list may change over the years, but enjoy as I unravel the best of the best. If you have ideas, suggestions, or comments please feel free to leave them. 4 was an okay game not as great as its predecessors but it had some replay value but it just annoys me how the series as gone away from survival horror and fans of the series are okay with that :/

This game is definitely in my top 3 favorites. I found the atmosphere creepy as fuck tho, and was constantly checking my back :P.. Downloading it now on PSN for a 5th playthrough :D!

@mastermindCHARGE I actually agree. Though I have played RE1, RE2, RE3, RECVX, REOutbreak, for some reason I actually found RE4 to be scary, and in my opinion the scariest of the bunch. The creepy atmoshpere, level design, music, the fog/mist, the giant boss encounters. The Regenerators are still the most terrifying things in a video game to me. The IronMaiden was pretty freaky as well the first time through. RE5 however... not scary at all, weak bosses, weak game.
