Japanese Beer Review: Draft One, IchiBan Sakura

A review of Sapporo's new "budget beer" Draft One. I also tried Asahi-Orion's "Ichi Ban Sakura" (First Cherry Blossom).

I ran a 10k road race this morning in Kobe so I felt I deserved to treat both you and myself to a beer review video! There'll be a video posted later this week about the Kobe City Marathon.

Did you really find Draft One that bad? I kinda like Draft One... for happoshu, it isn't bad. Much better than the stuff we reviewed previously.

酒税法対策のために、ビールに似せて作ったアルコール飲料です。­（おかげで安いですが）

ビールとはかなり風味が異なるので、ビールのつもりで飲むと「ま­ずい」とお感じなるのは理解できます。

でも、「ビールではない新しい飲み物」と考えると、いい線いって­いるのではないでしょうか。

By the way, right pronunciation for いちばん桜 is "Ichi-ban ZAKURA", I think.

We can read 桜　as "SAKURA". But if there're any words in front of 桜, We read it " ＸＸ ZAKURA".

yeah, Japanese is difficult, but for me, English is very very difficult...
