  • That's interesting. This one was about 3 feet long. I understand they will approach almost anything in the water because other fish will eat the parasites off of the Sunfish.

  • great sighting! it might just be the water but I think that looked small for and Ocean Sunfish, considering they are the size of 5 normal humans!

  • I once saw an Ocean Sunfish off the coast of Maine that was close to the size of a VW Beetle. It was very friendly and curious. It hung around the boat for over 30 minutes. Unfortunately, at the time video cameras weren't very common yet, so I have no footage of it.

  • I've heard that ocean sunfish typically really like humans That's so cool! I wish I could see a mola mola in real life sometime.... They're my favorite fish!!! ^^ <3
