@MatthewMartin23 This song came a bit after that stage in my life. But it sure did resonate because I had felt trapped like that. Near the girl you want... but never farther away. Girls aren't "buddies" boys. If she's not interested the way you'd like... move along.

Fantastic song. When I was younger and more socially awkward and did not understand how to court women I was more their friend than love interest. Therefore I connect with this in my former life, teens particularly. I was the brother to all of these ladies and the best friend, last option. I understand this song and am great BOC made it so I could not feel alone in this. BOC helped this young man for sure. Now I'm married and happy and grateful that youngsters have this to turn to.
