A sixth grade girl in Buncombe County, North Carolina recieved a comment on her class paper stating "-20% for being a LOSER" from her teacher Rex Roland.

to get along with others and when a teacher starts to bully a student, when its against the urles for students to be bullied its sending two mix single and messages, the thing that concerns me the most his how if not all parents most took the parents side. and wouldn't show on camera ( i wonder why)

i can believe that he is an all around decent guy to most of his students and probably very fun, but it only becomes an issue after it is obviously affecting the girl in a negative way and after her mother has complained to the school system. he stopped for a while and then started back up, disregarding the childs feelings and the mothers concern. my question is WHY?

It's difficult to know. I always try to look for follow up on several news stories, but it seems like most AP put it out there, let it sit and then completely drop it. I would like to know what is happening with the teacher after his blatant disregard for the welfare of the child and the concerns had with the mother. Thanks for commenting! It's very irrespectful of the teacher and also very unproffesional and when the teacher said that he was trying to meet the students on their levelor whatever theres other ways other than bullying them. It was also an excuse, a very stupid excuse. This shows that he is immature and its very dissappointing that the princible didn't do anything.
