hmm.. not sure why it would sting. Usually in chlorinated water (such as a pool), the sting factor doesn't happen that severely. If the water is very heavily chlorinated, it starts to bother me after a half hour or so. In my personal experience, the worst water for stinging is in the Mediterranean on the Italian coast. That water is VERY salty, and stings quite a bit after just a few mins. The best water of all is in a fresh water lake.
