@prototype00000 all those who have died before Jesus were in Abrahams Bosom, which is located somewhere near hell..but those who were in Abrahams bosom weren't just good Jews..they sincerely believed/had faith in the Messiah who will completely redeem them and restore them back into the glory of the Father! So whether you died before or after Jesus..Jesus's purpose was anticipated and believed..so during the 3 day period..Jesus reclaimed those who have passed back unto Him!

@prototype00000 So by the Jews practicing and believing in the law and the prophets..in essence they were believing in Jesus, because the law and the prophets attest to Him as their foretold redeemer. So when Jesus(The word) was here amongst us..it was no longer about following the WRITTEN law but the LIVING law who was Jesus. And as the written law provided temporary covering the living law provides eternal covering, because He is the fulfillment of that law..all

Wow! Way to go, Sam. Its about someone used their brain in explaining the bible in its context; and using the Greek words as well. Many of these muslims foolishly attempt to break down the bible using the english version and come out short handed. They fail to realize that original text is in Greek. They made the same mistake when they try to use that mohammad is in Deutoronomy 18. They didn't go to the Hebrew version and notice it speaks of an Israeli prophet. Sam, what church to do attend?

@prototype00000 First of all, circumcision was a sign of the covenant between God and Abraham. The gentiles have nothing to do with it.. so why do muslims do it? Where does the quran explain the importance of it? And during Jesus life the Law was in place and still unfullfilled thats why certain things still needed to be followed but once the Law was fullfilled things changed. Even quran says Jesus came to made somethings halal that were forbidden before.

circumcision itself wasn't really the issue, i was only mentioning it to show how far paul went in saying do not live like jesus,

he even goes so far he says if we live like jesus on this then jesus will be "no value" to you

so you cant follow the teachings of jesus 100% & still follow paul, it is impossible

google has no answers (people try but fail), not a christian i have met has any real answers on any of this
