Why would I trust a baptist minister about an obvious geology/economic issue? I would much rather hear an economist or geologist about the Peak Oil issue. Simply put, this man is not an expert on the subject and is sounding really foolish as a result.

A good friend of mine is a former executive of a division of a major oil company, and he laughs at the idea the oil is running out. I'm starting to believe this is paranoid bullshit - we need to change, but the "end of the world" people are just making this worse with pessimistic, largely unfounded concerns. Fuck that.
