Hey Dale, thank you for the demo. just what i needed as I'm in the market for one of Collings great guitars. Though all three sound really nice. I really like the unique colors scheme of the 290, and the Jazzy character of the 1-35, the SoCo tone is more balance to my ear and thus more voiced for all genres of musicial styles. I have one question; how does the SoCo feel in regard to smoothness of the fretboard and feel as you are standing with it?. Feel free to PM me. Thanks again. Peace

great to hear you are interested in these amazing guitars......i think your insights are good ones. The Soco is very comfortable both sit/stand and the the braz board makes for a mighty nice experance for the left hand! Best of luck in your decision and i'd sure love to hear back if you get one,
