Phentex Checkerboard Slippers.MPG

This video shows the specific steps to create the Phentex / Checkerboard Slippers and can also be used to create the checkerboard tea cozy with the same design. I am not specifically showing how to knit, but rather how to wrap the yarn at the end of the row to 'capture' the other yarn in order to 'pull' the float which creates the puffiness of the stitch. I am also showing how to create the 'wrong' side of the slipper in order to create the soft, smooth and cozy inside of the slipper. Let me know if you need more help figuring out that pattern. The ratio for length versus width is 1/2 the blocks long as wide.. so if the slipper is 14 blocks wide, then it needs to be 7 blocks long.. found that out after I made some WAAAAY too long.

I'm going to attempt this pattern soon - your video really helped with how to twist the two yarns when switching between colours.
