Arianna Huffington is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post, a nationally syndicated columnist, and author of twelve books. She is also co-host of "Left, Right & Center," public radio's popular political roundtable program.

In May 2005, she launched The Huffington Post, a news and blog site that has quickly become one of the most widely-read, linked to, and frequently-cited media brands on the Internet. In 2006, she was named to the Time 100, Time Magazine's list of the world's 100 most influential people.

Originally from Greece, she moved to England when she was 16 and graduated from Cambridge University with an M.A. in economics. At 21, she became president of the famed debating society, the Cambridge Union.

Writing in Huffington Post forums should also help create a “vibrant community,” Arianna, but unfortunately for me, when I recently used The Huffington Post’s own figures to create my “Joe Averageguy” analogy, which argues that global temperatures have leveled off at best since 1998, The Huffington Post deleted my forum comments and removed my profile, Xarkonul. Huffington Post is a garbage site where political pop culture is advertised with likes of Faux Noise. These pseudo journalism shenanigan must be stopped. The censorship rate on Huffington Post is just beyond any comprehension which you would expect from the batshit crazy right wing site. I guess they try to balance the blog sphere by equating themselves with right.
