Norrjehan can never sing and as sweet as Lata was like... Chalte Chalte...Ai dile naada.. dikhai diye yun.. pankh hote to ud ati re..naino me badra chaaye... kuch dil ne kahaa.. (and so on ).world knows darling... Lata to Lata hai..

I like (and respect too) Noorjehaan too.. she is also 1 of my fvt... But thats was her fortune that she migrate to Pakistan otherwise in front of Lata she could be nothing here... (also read next comment)

Although Suraiyya started as a playback singer at the age of 13 for Mehtaab, she later only sang her own songs - no playback!!! Just the fact that Bollywood has not produced ANY actress who could also sing shows the depth of her talent. Her voice was more sonorous and had more "body" than Lata's.

And do not forget that she was NOT trained in singing. She was a pure amateur singer!!! Catch her duet with Rafi "Beqaraar hai koi", music by Husnlal-Bhagatram. Supremely sweet & sonorous.

was loose character and corrupt women who came from Heera Mandi, she like Pakistani director Shamim ara loved to be sorrounded by young lads, she was mistress of Yahya Khan, a dictator, She used her daughters like Shazia ,Henna etc as high class girls and it was revealed when income tax raided her house.
