A very fine day at the seaside at Rhossili. Loads of people enjoying the bouyant, somewhat strong conditions. Used more speedbar than I have ever done before! Got to see loads of weird Orographic cloud............. and landed just before it got dark, as you do...............

  • @mauricioselingrin Sem problemas. Um dia eu vou voar no Brasil!

  • Hi! Paragliding is the cheapest and most fun way of flying! Do a Google search for a local club. I'm sure they will be very helpful. Give it a go! Your english is great!

  • Never too old! Well you can be, and hopefully I will be someday, just not today! :)

  • Hey, you're far too old to fly up there with all that tackle you old codger! Fair play to you mate, wish i had the confidence to do that. I might put this on my bucket list of things to do, before i die.

    Cheers, brilliant!

  • Hi FRS

While we have 100's of sites up here in East Scotland, of those giving a sea cliff/ridge flying the only ones that have a similar shape to Rhossili are on the coast road to England south of Edinburgh, so I don't fly them often (3+hr drive) unless I'm down that way on biz (commercial photography) or trips to Yorkshire/Wales.

Give me a shout any time you are up in Tayside/Fife (if wanting to 'crash' over night just bring a sleeping bag and you are welcome to stay)
