Burton will pay $5,000 to the owner of the best video of people snowboarding on one of the 4 mountains where snowboarding is not allowed. 4 mountains = $20,000 possible.

if everybody could carve decent this would not be an issue. moguls are stupid and are no longer relavant in a world of shaped skies unless you like bad knees. And NO a snowboard turn done right is no different than a ski turn just one less edge. just cause most people suck and most people snowboard doesnt mean you can judge us all. and fu*k walking in SKI BOOTS.

@zSniperGuyz Allow me to retract the phrase "inexperienced." What I really mean to say is that the snowboard turn is a different shape than a ski turn and thus makes a different shape mogul. When skiers and snowboarders mix on mogul terrain the result is a less than desirable bump pattern. There are plenty of places where boarders can enjoy life and I have nothing against them, but there is real value for skiers to skiing only mountains.

@airglo Note that you said "an inexperienced snowboarder". Well duh, inexperienced snowboarders shouldn't be on moguls any more than inexperienced skiers. An experienced snowboarder (like me) can do moguls just fine without damaging them. Many boarders are just too lazy to tire their legs on moguls and that's why they suck at them. Don't generalize when there's a lot of good boarders out there who can wreck on moguls as good as any skier.

Taos was going bankrupt so they had to allow snowboarding. The remaining three will follow soon enough.
