@birdmark100 That is chicago's own Delores 'Honey' Sykes you can see her by looking up "Stretch Out", Delores 'Honey' Sykes..she was also a choir director at monument of faith here in chicago where she a been for many years and she is still there also she was one of the lead vocalist for Rev. Milton Brunson And The Thompson Community Singers where she played drums on the hit Rise Up and Walk.

I use to hear my mother sing this song and crying not knowing she was praying to God to make a way for here fourteen children and he did that was here song I thank you so much an God Bless you it also was a Blessing for me too

God Bless you Min Rodgers!!! Another posting from this agregation of Classic Gospel Singers. I have been wanting to see this post. A nice New Year 2010 present. I used to have this video and I am so grateful for youtube and for you and others like you being able to share with the rest of us in this way. As I say May We Not Forget These Old Songs and continue to sing them so that the generation coming along will know the rich heritage of Gospel Music. AMEN.
