Hello
I What really meant is that I would like to have the entire DVD with chorus and Ashkenazi
It´s one of my challenges regarding music

I'd be glad to listen to the whole ballet conducted by Askenazy but I am happy that fragments posted here included 'Lever du jour', one of my favourites parts. To me it was performed in a beautifull and touching way, especially the beggining of it.
Imoimo- thanks a lot :)
By the way I really appreaciated watching Ashkenazy conducting it, his facial expression was so lovely in some moments ;] Nice to see the joy that music gives to its performers.

Dear Elejandro, I understand you mean perfomance with a chorus, not necasarily with chorus and Ashkenazy ... I can't recommend you any DVD as I don't know it but if CD would be OK to you as well then EMI classics recorded "Daphnis and Chloe" with London Chorus and Symphony Orchestra conducted by Previn. I think EMI is that popular you won't have any problems with getting it, especially that they published it within "red line" that is pretty common :)
Ashkenazy is one of my favourite musicians on the planet...a real cerebral pianist and conductor.
But this wasn't my interpretation of this piece for the simple fact that it was too fast. There was no time for the harmonies to sink in. Played well, though, technically.
