Seems to be the hardest part of the run for me so far, with the exception of Bongo Bongo. I'm sure I'll get it soon, but boy do I hate climbing up that thing.

Yeah I decided to keep trying without the shield so i wouldn't screw up my attempt at the uber challenge and made it about 10 minutes after i commented

at this point my thumb is so sore from having to use a worn out n64 controller, also makes the glitches harder to do..

I notice that your wearing the Hylian Shield but you also only have 3 hearts and the broken giant's knife, am I allowed to wear the shield at this point in the Uber Challenge or were you just using the giant's knife to add to diffficulty on a non-uber challenge run?

IIRC, you can't have the shield at this point in the Uber Challenge. I used the Broken Giant's Knife to show that the trick could be done with it.

The only part I can't do is the side hop to the jump slash. Any tips or pointers I've tried this for about two hours.

If you have trouble facing the right direction before your hover runs out, try starting your first roll sooner.

How are you getting the camera to adjust so quickly? When I attempt this, my side-hop sends me further away from the cliff.

You have to turn before you sidehop.
