@manga12 Actually, I heard the diaphone going off last night. The nautophones had a problem apparently, and were making a funny noise. So they had no choice but to use the diaphone. I found out on the news.

knock out the nautiphone so they are forced to use the diaphone, do it man do it. no dont I dont need people knocking on my door for telling you to do something.

@manga12 Well this diaphone we have hear has not being heard for a long time, due to the fact that is a back-up horn. But I do have a recording.

your lucky they are rare I have never actualy heard a diaphone one, I think on my trips to michigan city I have heard the loud beep of the nautiphone they have out on the old one on lake michigan, but its been soo long since I have been to michigan city. used to go up there for the discount shops called lighthouse stores I think its right in plain site of the powerplant they have up there which might be nuclear. and I thought it was a lunch alarm there but I could be wrong dont know.

@manga12 There is one still in use where I live, but it is used as a back-up horn, and it's a normal Type F.
