    Hi, Adam. It depends on the situation. For jazz and light pop/R&B, they cut just fine. They record great, IMO. 14"s are def. more versitile, but the 12"s are a pleasure to play. They have a very quick reponse.

  • Would those hats cut through enough for a normal band situation? I really like the sound but think the 14s might be more versatile....what do you think?
