"Song of the South" is a 1946 Disney movie based on Chandler Harris's "Tales of Uncle Remus", starring James Baskett. Disney has never released the entire film on DVD in the US, because the racial themes in the film would harm the company's image.
There are a lot of misunderstandings about why the film is considered racially offensive. It has animated segments and live action. The animated segments are not the problem; Disney is willing to release those. The problem is with the live-action segments that show southern blacks being happy under white domination.
If you want the whole film on DVD, you can import it from Japan or the United Kingdom. There are probably other ways to get it as well.
