No one deserves lung cancer. Would you say people with poor diet deserve to die of a heart attack? Or women who have sex deserve to get cervical cancer? Or people who are in the sun deserve melanoma? No. Only 10% of all smokers develop lung cancer. Of those diagnosed with lung cancer 15% are never smokers, and 65% were smokers but have since quit. The number of non-smokers w/ lung cancer is growing. Lung cancer deserves better funding and research. Its a terrible disease and no one deserves it.

@GTAvideofuel no not necessarily. Get her to talk to her doctor about it. memory deteriation can be the cause of many different things, not just cancer. There may be nothing wrong with your mom. The only way to know is to talk to the doctor and go from there based on the doctors opinion.
