why is everyone referring to the resolution? it's the audio bit rate that determines audio quality. i realize there is a relation but lets just use proper terms.

@fuzzywraith Video resolution doesn't determine audio quality. However, on Youtube, videos compressed in 240p also use one type of audio compression while videos in 360p and 480p use a different, less shitty form of audio compression. You can check Youtube's Wikipedia page, but yeah. Youtube videos in 240p have a much poorer sound quality than videos in 360p and up.

@FPBlackdragon321 Sorry to budge in here, but Audio-Technicas are one of the top rated companies of audio reproduction devices along with Sennheiser, V-Moda, and Etymotic. Most of their $100 range products outperform the $200 stuff from Beats.

@L33Tspartan im sorry ive never heard of Audio Technicas and i do alot of DJ work. so they must not be as good as you say. Beats are good but yes they are over priced. Beats Audio software is nice. but there are others that are just as good.

A. Beats are overpriced, but that is just because it is a brand.

B. VIDEO QUALITY HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH AUDIO QUALITY. How does the RESOLUTION of the PIXELS on the screen affect your AUDIO? The p in 240 p is progressive scan as in vertically scanning, the number is the amount of PIXELS from the top of the screen to the bottom, not a SINGLE piece of that is about audio, PLEASE stop paying your internet provider.
