We join scientist Alexandros Frantzis of the Pelagos Cetacean Research Institute on a scientific expedition through Greece insearch of the elusive and endangered Mediterranean Sperm Whale.
"Life in the Trenches" is part of a series of documentary films called Whales of the Mediterranean Sea. This series documents the scientists exploring the Mediterranean, and the cetaceans that inhabit this ancient sea.
@TheDennsen So fucking sad that this is unrealistic though =(...It's not exactly si-fi such things could happen ( I mean common we even have the resources to build shelter and give basic life supply's to EVERYONE on earth.,emagine what else we COULD do) the only reason that such things "can't" happen on a big scale is that there is no or to little profit to be made, in the end it might actually cost something.... and as we all are aware in today's world: No Profit/Cost = Impossibility

They should declare the mediteranean ocean a giant no fishing area and try to make threatened species settle there. (im aware that this is quite unrealistic :)
