Pay for Grades: Does Cash for Students Work?

This is very interesting. I don't see any problem with paying kids money for grades, however I do have a problem with the school paying money for the kids. Whose pocket is this money coming from? At my son and daughter's school, they earn fake money by which the teacher has certain rewards they can buy with the fake cash. I also had a friend who was paid $5 dollars for every A, and every year he rarely ever obtained a B. However, it was his parents, not the school.

Holy crap, I got 5 A+'s and 1 A and I got $20. XD luckies, but hey I used it to get Minecraft so it's all good

Ok, I'm a student, and I hate this idea. It's only gonna corrupt the children even more than they are now.

I get straight A's. I wish I got paid. Pulling 97+% in honors classes isn't hard, but I'm one of the few who can.
The only thing I get from my parents is $20 if I get a perfect on an Honors Science test. But those tests are so hard, only 1 person out of 22 in the class gets a perfect, at most.

YOU COMMIE LOVER!!!
This idea is ridiculous. They already ARE being paid for getting good grades - they should think about it as investing in their futures.
UGH. What kind of monsters are we raising?

I can see the pros of this on one hand but I think for the long run it will hurt the kids. I am not in favor of this method.
