Martz Wholesale Cedar Video of Cam West Dev. Remodel

Home in Kirkland WA, Remodeled beautifully by Cam West Development. The Cedar Materials, on the exterior are all clear and used on the smooth side and the Cedar Suppliers are Martz Wholesale Cedar, and Cedar Suppliers. The siding is a 1/2 x 4 CVG Smooth face primed all four sides Finger Joint clapboard cedar. The window trims us various sizes of Finger Joint Cedar. The home is a 1914 original, remodeled and is a restored Mansion. The Clapboard cedar siding is a natural choice for this home. With clapboard you are using the whole board that is not beveled, and it gives you a sharp clean edge, and it also gives you 15/16 of an inch were they lap. This is good because it cuts down on the splitting that you can get with nailing through a feather tip of bevel siding. The Finger Joint in this video is a very good use of a resource of Canadian old growth, in the past this stock was wasted, now using the finger joint process, it is used for this beautiful product, that will last with maintenance for more than 100 years. This product is so strong that it actually tends to pull the framing that has a crown in it, straight.
