@RamblinAround it was over engineered because they were short of time and didnt have time for mistakes. over engineered= pretty much bullet proof.

Yes they are comfortable but with all that car under you, you don't really notice.

I like how Ford decided to be attentive to detail with the interior on this car. Real genuine metal buttons and switches over the usual cheap plastic ones.

@V8Supercar1 This is definitely one of the highest quality Fords ever built. Thanks for checking it out.

@RamblinAround: Hey I gotta a question for you. This is something I always wondered about this car. Is there any compartment where you can put a normal size suit case in? Like behind the seats or something? I know the part on the hood opens up, but I dont think you can put anything in there.

@V8Supercar1 No, the Ford GT has almost no luggage space to speak of. It was just something they weren't concerned with at all. There is less than 1.0 cubic feet of space for cargo. You'd have to put a suitcase in the passenger seat...lol.

@azrebels Yep, these were considered instant collector cars when they came out. They really are pretty awesome, but I'd have to live in it if I bought it.
