Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb tuning on this one, the guitar in this is mostly samples of the original version rearranged, with the exception of the harmonics during the bridge. I didn't play any of the clean parts in this since the distorted parts are more important (and sound less "sampled" as well). There's also a lot of distorted synth stuff in this song that sounds kind of like guitar, but isn't.

@SmartzwithPartz And I'm glad the band picked the winner themselves instead of just basing it off the voting, because there were some pretty terrible remixes that ranked higher than mine, as well as some really good ones that ranked a lot lower. It did turn into quite the popularity contest, and I'll admit to my fair amount of shameless self-promotion, but a lot of the people who commented on my mix were people I didn't know. A good portion of the people on LPLive actually hate me anyway.

@SmartzwithPartz And as far as the idea of Linkin Park covers automatically getting you a lot of views, that's not necessarily true. A lot of my subscribers have tried to follow the same route (and I certainly wish them the best of luck), but more often than not, the videos I see them post only get a couple hundred views, if that. I think what happened with me was more of a result of me being well-known in the Linkin Park fan community long before I started posting videos.

@SmartzwithPartz I can see where you're coming from if you take that one comment out of context. I don't mean to come off as someone with delusions of grandeur, hell, I work 30 hours a week as a telemarketer to help pay the bills for the little 2-bedroom apartment I'm renting. As far as my band goes though, we never paid anybody off to achieve anything. We played shows for free, paid out of pocket to have our CDs professionally manufactured through Discmakers, and worked out of our own studio.

Oh, and as far as the viewers go, your videos consist of covers of one of the biggest bands in the world which automatically will get you views. Then you put into the equation that you are one of the few, if not only, people to have a big collection of covers. Last but not least, you have to figure in the young generation of fans who have no concept of what it takes to be a good musician. Don't get me wrong, your covers are fantastic but your attitude is piss poor.
