I think this guy's the most skilled painter on youtube. Much better than the 7 layer realism guys in my opinion.

Great demonstration on underpainting and glazing thanks very much I've certainly learned a lot. Also appreciated your remarks during this discourse respecting Titian and the old masters. A wonderful job in such a short period of time with this subject overall. Best I've seen on YouTube...Thank you!

A privilege to watch over DC's shoulder as he deploys the tactics and overall strategy to construct he portrait. I don't think we need worry whether the outcome reminds us of this or that other painter - the point is we have an insight into a way of working adapted to the painter's needs. Thank you. Small quibble - I missed some of the nuances in the verbal commentary - a lapel microphone might have helped.

thanks for the 2 Cretara demos we need more of these long playing ones on youtube ........I have never learned anything from watching a speed painting
