a slideshow of amazing accomplishments that people and athletes have done to cross their own finish line

I...thought I knew it all
I've been through the highs said all my goodbyes
Learned to run before I learned to crawl
It's not worth fighting for
If one of us is shorned
and one of us is dying
trying to find loves door
I have waited all my life to paint these cities red
the thoughts I always had here
stuck inside my head its not worth waiting for
one of us wants more
and one of us is dying trying to find loves door

when we learn how to fly
we forget how to walk
when we learn how to sing
we dont want to hear each other talk
here we are at the finish line
ah ah ah a here we are at the finish line

and you, you really thought you knew
everything to do
with holding onto me
with holding on
this time is making me see right thru your head
and now you dont understand
trying to find up all yourself

when we learn how to fly
we forget how to walk
when we learn how to sing
we dont want to hear each other talk
when we know what we want
we forget what we need
when you find who you are
you forget about me
here we are at the finish line
ah ah ah a here we are at the finish line
ah ah ah a here we are at the finish line
ah ah ah a here we are at the finish line
ah ah ah a
ah ah ah ahh ahh a
ah ah ah ahh ahh a

  • This song has nothing to do with a finish line like a race. It's talking about a relationship where one person is done and the other isnt ready to be at the finish line. Listen to the lyrics (which aren't all right up above)

  • @fliplace15 yeah it is about that. but for every song there is multiple interpretations, and this song has the lyrics and sound that can be seen as inspirational. so thats what I did. either way its a good song...also the song was used for the Olympics so kinda added to the inspirational part.

  • @TheBodyandMind you're retarded if you think this song is about anything else than the end of a relationship. that's the finish line he is singing about, not some race.

  • @fksongs my god, your probably one of those douchbags who call out every thing they deem unfit if you don't get my point then u don't get interpretation and if u don't have your own interpretation on music then you don't truly know music. what fun is it to just listen to a song and believe what they say they want you to believe you've got to think for yourself. also i don't see it as a race, just the line here we are at the finish line, i find it inspirational. good day

  • the video with the cheering ruined it.

  • Ok, when you're making a video just for a song, you don't put other sounds (especially annoying announcers) over that song.

  • lamest slide show everrrrrrrrrrr.

  • I love this song. I don't care what it means LOL I just like the song

  • If you look at the description, it says 'a slideshow of amazing accomplishments that people and athletes have done to cross their own finish line'. ;Their own'... Some people live to win races, others to win elections, others to find happiness. This songs definately about interpretation. it's about whatever you want it to be about. It is easily heard as an end to a relationship. Could be two friends coming apart due to college. Or an athlete living their dream... Just enjoy the music...

  • when his father ran onto the track to help his son finish the race, i think i came to an epiphany.tears were rolling down my eyes and i thought " doesn't matter how old you are, you can always be a child in your fathers/mothers arms. i always thought once you were matured, and a grown up. you shouldn't do things lik collapsing into your fathers arms and crying, but right here i realized that the bond formed as baby and parents will NEVER be severed!!!!!!!

  • @fksongs Every song has multiple interpretations, i thought of it as a friend that forgets about another one because they became too good for the other one in ones eyes. i am not wrong and neither is @TheBodyandMind. They're called opinions for a reason sir.

  • I heard this song on SYTYCD. obsessed <3

  • This song is not about a race. Sorry.
