I had the great pleasure of seeing Sammy at about this time - singing, dancing, brilliant impressions (particularly of film stars of the time like Bogart, Jimmy Stewart etc), comedy - he even did the most amazing tricks with guns. In every respect he was the complete entertainer and it was one of the treats of my life. We will never see his like again..
