Brian Dear, http://twitter.com/brianstorms , who runs the Plato History Org, http://platohistory.org/ , shows me an installation of some of the few remaining Plato systems that were on display at the Computer History Museum last week for the Plato@50 conference. What's Plato? It is a social computing system from the 1970s. It's where lots of famous geeks got their start in the computer world, including Ray Ozzie who is the CTO at Microsoft.
