The Elder Scrolls Online Celebrates the Opening of Beta Sign-Ups With a Fancy New Trailer

At least this game learned one thing from World of Warcraft. Namely, pretty-looking all-CG trailers that don't even remotely resemble the actual game. Marketing!

Different Era of things now. Built on same engine and has same methodology as they outlined it as star wars galaxies.

People will play the beta, do everything, level up in days on release, twiddle their thumbs after and then drop it.

Free to play in months coming up after release will occur.

Not a nice thought but this is the most likely outcome of this. IT just has to be finished as to much money has been spent making it already.

No gameplay! What the hell is that? The people said Give us the Elder Scrolls singleplayer experience, but with co-op in it. Zenimax said: Well, here's a generic looking MMO with absolutely no feeling of privacy and also, let's have a monthly fee, cause those things seams to go over well these days.

At first I kinda felt bad for the developers, but now I'm actually starting to think that they're getting what they deserve. That might be me just wanting that co-op Elder Scrolls too badly though.

Trailer looks awesome. But doesnt change the fact that this will come waaay to late to the party. What where they thinking? They pretty much burned all their money for nothing.

I have a feeling what will make or break this game is endgame content. If there is something to do from launch at the max level and they release content fast enough this game could be great. I have a lot of friends that want to play it do if there are things to do at the end it will probably be ok. More then just PvP that is.

damn it why are you forcing me to play as the bad people, why can't i play as an imperial that unifies the empire and drives out the daedric prince's corruption and rebels against the corrupted leader, and holds the line against the greedy alliances FOR THE EMPIRE!!!
