I like how the "sensitive" and "open-minded" liberals have such spiteful, hateful, and nasty things to say about Palin - attacks on a personal level and taunts worthy of a 6th grade bully.

If you don't agree with her policies or stands on issues then OK. But there's nothing to be gained by calling her "mean-spirited", "Stupid", "Ugly", or "one step away from a poo-chucking ape".

Elections are supposed to be about ISSUES not nasty little personal attacks.

However, when it goes to Conservatives vs. Liberals, it gets skewed because some people are actually talking about ISSUES and POLICIES, where others are just using Conservative as buzzword for mindlessly obedient Republican, and using Liberal as a buzzword for Brianlessly Obedient Democrat.

But it truly is stupid. Politics change peoples' lives and decide on huge issues in our society. We need to be open minded and try to understand each others' viewpoints and find the best solution, rather than enter situations with the set idea that the "other" is automatically wrong or not worth listening to.
