The only way to get him in to the game at that point without that bug which I have no idea how it could happen is by download darth333s mod.

funny thing about this mod is that it doesn't check to see if you actually were the duel champion, so you can still get this scene and the same dialogue even if you never became a duelist. :P

Still an awesome mod, though. ^_^ Darth333 rules. :)
