@nisedayon, we don't really know if they're a couple at the moment... but the most important thing is that "the guitarist" is the voice of The Frames, which started in 1990 (more significative than being in a film, I think!)

the pianist and the guitarist are from the indie movie "Once"... and they're a real couple too... nice to hear them again in "Dear John"...
