NJ on Joan Rivers before being sent back to prison 1987

Norma Jean was first invited on Joan Rivers' show on FOX just after she ran for office in 1986 and had garnered over 100,000 votes as a convicted felon prostitute. She was later invited to be a guest on the New Years' Eve show and then one more time just before she was sent back to prison, because, as the DA said, she was writing a book that 'would undermine respect for the law (as if allowing corruption to flourish would engender respect???) This is the guest appearance she made not long after the Appellate Court overturned her probation sentence and sent her case back to the judge to re-sentence her to the mandatory three to six year prison term, after she already served a violation free probation of 2 years and 7 months.
