  • I don't know if it inspired the long running Canadian panel game show "Front Page Challenge".

  • Don't take this off. I'm planning to do this game one day and if I'm going to do it, I want to do it right. So far, the only visual aid I have is this, so please don't let me down and take this off too soon.

  • This was the period after John Daly was fired by CBS News and before he was hired by ABC News. During this period, Daly took on as many freelance jobs as he could. When he was hired to anchor ABC's evening news in 1953, he gave up most of them, except for What's My Line and a few other yearly specials.

  • 4:46, Frank Wayne. The greatest EP of all time in TPIR history. Great producer, good stunt coordinator, creator of Match Game (1962) and created Plinko in 1983 on TPIR. That man had class. RIP Frank Wayne and John Daly.

  • Nice video - anything from this show is super rare! Interesting to see John outside of WML; another WML connection here...Quent Reynolds, who was a good friend of Bennett Cerf. Thanks for posting this!

  • Do you have anymore "It's News To Me" episodes?

  • Later on in the show's run, it was hosted by none other than Walter Cronkite.

  • Delightful. Thanks very much.
