  • Dunno how many of you played this game as a pirated version, but for those of you who bought the actual box, remember how much stuff was in it? All those books, posters and panflets detailing the story, the propaganda art for the government, the technical details on the enemies... hardly any collector's edition nowadays matches, and back then that was the standard - no "slipper in your dvd case" bull and then boxed version for extra expensive. You got your money's worth. Good times, the best.

  • All we have now are games like crysis 2, Black Ops,etc. which may be good don't get me wrong. I'm sure they are, but it's just not 'Crusader - No Regret' good(if you know what i mean).

  • @godthisisannoying I miss gaming back then, pre Halo.

  • okay so this track is pretty awesome always loved that aspect of the crusader games. But i was wondering. has anyone ever been able to get down the guitar tabs / music to play for themselves at home? if anyone does know where i can find it would much appreciate it!

  • This was an insta-buy for me on GOG today!

Crusader's become my go-to game. It's the Feel Good Game of the 90's.

GOG's also added additional content to their No Remorse package too. It used to just include the manual, but now it includes the supplementary materials too, and they seem to be in good quality.

  • As with No Remorse several months ago, this has just been re-released on Good Ol' Games (GOG.com) today for 6 bucks! (It also includes some bonus content, including plot and script texts, history and lore texts, wallpaper and artwork, etc.) No soundtrack, though, so download this or visit the GOG Crusader forum for soundtrack links.

  • @godthisisannoying Hell yeah.

  • *looks at the votes*

So one guy was a WEC security enforcer...

  • @godthisisannoying - Yep. Origin did that for almost every game. I still have the box 'feelies' from the first Crusader. Deus Ex (the first one) also came out with similar stuff, like a copy of the 'Midnight Sun' newspaper.

  • @godthisisannoying yup this was when developers felt a real connection to the games they made, it was a work of art
