Ashton our grandson was born at Ottawa General with Gastroschisis and was placed in the neonatal intensive care unit of Ottawa's Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario and given a feeding tube diet of TPN which caused his liver to give up. He was placed on the donor list. He spent his first 8 months in CHEO . 3 major surgeries and then MIRACLE, he was a fighter and pulled off an amazing turn around before a liver was found and is enjoying life as a healthy 5 year old today. Thanks to all the staff at the CHEO. Lillian and Bella are our recent grand daughters. We are blessed. Updated to include Olivia, our newest grandchild.
