Native Instruments jumps into the audio interface fray with the Audio Kontrol 1, and we get the dirt from Digidesign on Protools 7 features. After this week's show, check out the Gearwire Insider section for some totally jammin' videos featuring Digidesign and Native Instruments. Crosstalk honors the spirit of Bob Moog, who passed away one year ago from the week of taping. We remember Moog with a shootout featuring two of his monosynth creations, one old, one new. The 1974 Model D Minimoog and the Electric Blue Minimoog Voyager go head-to-head in our live in-studio review.

02:45 Native Instruments changes things up a little in the USB audio interface game with the new
Audio Kontrol which includes virtual instruments and DJ software. It also acts as a semi-control surface with one big knob that "does stuff" to quote the ever eloquent Mike Payne. Is this a good koncept or are they turning out krap? Tune in and find out!
05:43 We review sample video delicacies which are part of our new Gear Insider section. This weeks vid covers the Digidesign Protools 7.
19:38 This
week's special review pits Minimoog against Minimoog. Our good friend Tom lends his vintage 1974 Model D to very thankful podcasters. Electric Blue Minimoog Voyager is also in on the party and ready to spin.

What a shitty review of the Ni Audio Kontrol, i come looking for actual product testing which im sure you guys never even touched the thing. Ni brags about low latency so put it to a hands on test and review it. Instead of "uhh Big Button Does Stuff " Lame
